MakerSpace, Woodshop, Metalshop and DIY classes for Southern California Creatives
The Collab MakerSpace is a 3000 sq ft community workshop located just north of Downtown Los Angeles (with plentiful free, safe parking.) We offer monthly memberships as well as amazing, fun and educational DIY classes and workshops. Featuring a wide range of tools and equipment for members to use – from traditional to modern – we’ve made a place that is easy to access, fun to use, and ready to set your creativity loose.
We offer private classes for members (and members can teach classes for a little extra money) as well as public DIY classes and workshops in Woodworking, Welding, CNC routing, resin pouring, Arduino programming, sewing and much more!
Flexible membership options make it easy to get started and get building. We limit the number of memberships and number of people in the shop so you’ll never be waiting in line to use a piece of equipment. Private workstations, workbenches and secure storage are also available.
Size: 3000 square foot divided into metal, wood, paint, tech, craft and workshop spaces
Location: Just north of Downtown Los Angeles, freeway convenient with plentiful FREE, safe parking.
Equipment: Full range of wood, metal, painting, crafting, 3D, and art tools to help you make anything you can imagine.
Workspace: Members get access to all public work tables and spaces and also get 12 cubic feet of rack storage. Members can also rent private movable worktables (with under table storage) as well as additional secure rack storage space to keep their projects on site.
Membership: Long term, Monthly, and daily flex plans. Full access monthly membership starts at just $225!
Hours: Long term members have 24 hour access. Monthly and daily members can use the space 7 days/week between 6 AM and midnight (after hour options may be available for monthly/daily members with an additional fee.)
Pricing: Works out to around $5-10/hour depending on your membership level, includes access to all of the tools and space!
